Find Campus Life & Leadership here...
The Campus Life office is located in the ‘lower level’ of the women’s residence hall at 655 Sutter
Street (Howard Brodie). We are right below The Egg at 655 1⁄2 Sutter Street. The office entrance is
through the residence hall lobby, next door to The Egg. Now we are even more connected with our
students – we’ve practically moved in with them, so we have gotten to know a lot of our neighbors
better.
The 620 Sutter Street (Clara Gill Stephens) building houses a residence hall with the free
Academy gym and swimming pool, the Campus Recreation office, and bus stop – all directly across the
street from The Egg. The 680 Sutter Street (Edgar Degas) apartments and 688 Sutter Street Gallery
are on the corner of Sutter and Taylor. The 825 Sutter Street (Commodore) and 860 Sutter
Street (I-House) co-ed residence halls are up one and a half blocks.
We’re also about 10 steps away from the 625 Sutter Street Gallery and MFA Photography
department; half a block from the BFA Photography department at 740 Taylor Street; one and a half
blocks from the 540 Powell Street Illustration department; and 560 Powell Street (Fritz Lang)
apartments.
The 491 Post Street Morgan Auditorium and the Liberal Arts department are located a block and a
half away at the corner of Post and Mason Street.
And we are a couple of short blocks from the 736 Jones Street (Johannes Vermeer) apartments; a
few blocks from 1080 Bush Street (Leonardo Da Vinci) residence hall and 1153 Bush Street (Frank
Lloyd Wright) apartments; down the hill 3 blocks from the 1055 Pine Street (Auguste Rodin) men’s
residence hall with the Rodin Café, and free Academy gym in The Club House next door.
Union Square, our famous San Francisco shopping district, is only 3 blocks away. It’s all about
location, location, location!
