I am joining Academy of Art University from South Carolina where I was the
assistant coach and recruiting director for Clemson University's Women's Rowing. After a twelve
year career as a US National and Olympic team rower, I am eager to start work with the community of
artists at Academy of Art University. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I studied art at
Pacific Lutheran University, UC Santa Barbara and graduated from the University of Massachusetts
Amherst. The chance to develop sports and recreation for Academy of Art University students is the
most exciting combination of my two passions. I believe that living a full and balanced life is a
great goal and I think that health and wellness play an important part in achieving balance.
Recreational sports will be tailored to our student's needs and will be focused on fun and being
accessible and available to every student! |
