The Academy of Art University offers you the chance to live and study in one of the
most exhilarating cities in the world, San Francisco.
All our residence buildings offer students a "Live-Learn Community", with
customized programming activities to promote a sense of belonging. Here, students share common
goals, both high academic and career aspirations.
Become independent. Residents learn to manage responsibilities, such as time
management and financial budgeting, in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our housing facilities provide comfortable living arrangements in which you can
relax, mingle with other students, and enjoy the experience of being at the Academy. You may choose
from a number of living arrangements that include furnished dormitories and apartments. All
facilities are wireless-connected and have high-speed, free Internet access.
Most of our housing facilities are located in the downtown area of San Francisco,
allowing you to explore the city first-hand. Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, Telegraph Hill, and
many other sights are all accessible by walking or taking the city's historic cable cars. To reach
campus buildings, you may take the convenient Academy shuttle bus.
