Attention Students:
Important Summer 2022 Facilities Use Announcement

Academy of Art University will be opening select labs, shops and studios for course homework during the Summer 2022 Semester. In order to promote a safe and healthy learning environment, we are limiting onsite traffic in most areas where technology can be served in a virtual setting. This change will have an impact to Academic Facility designations within most majors as Course Fee entitlements for onsite computer labs are being waived or replaced with Virtual Lab Access. In addition, we will be utilizing our WebCheckout Reservation System to make reservations remotely and in advance to coming on campus. The implementation of WebCheckout is necessary to identify contact and adds another level of support with safety measures.

Attention Students: Reserve Your Spot for On-Campus Facilities

Our art and design facilities are open to students through the WebCheckout reservation system. Reserve your spot for access to equipment checkout, shops, labs and other on campus resources that are important to your work.

Additional Reservation Information

All students will be required to make reservations in advance for studio, lab, and shop access.

Former Academy of Art University President Richard A. Stephens has always had a penchant for cars—a passion passed down to his daughter and current President Dr. Elisa Stephens. Wanting to offer industrial design students unparalleled reference material, the auto museum hosts a wealth of beautifully crafted historical automobiles right in our industrial design building.

The museum is open to the public, and we invite you to come by and experience automotive history for yourself.

All proceeds from admission will benefit the Rotary Club and the Boys & Girls Club.
