Tuition Payment Options

Academy of Art offers many different ways to help you structure your payments, including installment plans and interest-free payment plans. Our account receivable representatives can walk you and your family through all of your options for financial assistance and payments. Credit Card

If you are paying by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or JCB, you can pay online by logging in to Student Self Service.

Follow this path once you are logged into Self Service: My Educational Profile > Finances > Make a Payment/Installment Plan. Payments can be made 24 hours a day.

Payments must be received on or before the required due dates or your account will be subject to late fees, cancellation of the installment plan may occur, and your classes may be administratively dropped.

Check

If you are paying by Check please make it payable to the Academy of Art University and send it to:

Cash

Cash payments may be made at the Accounts Receivable Department on the 4th floor of the 150 Hayes St. building during normal business hours or deposited in our secure drop box.

Installment Plans

Our installment plan is available to all students for our Fall and Spring semesters. The installment plan enables students to pay their tuition in four separate payments. Students may also use the installment plan for any portion of their tuition not covered by their awarded financial aid. Installment plan agreement contracts and information regarding the Academy's installment plan may be obtained from the Accounts Receivable office. The Accounts Receivable staff may assist the student with the completion of the required contract.

Students enrolled for Fall or Spring may submit an online application for our four-month installment plan contract. Go to Student Self Service and navigate to "My Educational Profile", click on "Finances" link to apply online for the installment plan. A payment plan fee of $50.00 is due with the first installment.

Payments must be received on or before the required due dates or your account will be subject to late fees, cancellation of the installment plan may occur, and your classes may be administratively dropped.

Interest-Free Four Month Installment Plan Deadlines

(Fall 2019)

1st Installment (with $50 fee) Due Saturday, August 31, 2019
2nd Installment Due Monday, October 1, 2019
3rd Installment Due Thursday, October 31, 2019
4th Installment Due Saturday, December 1, 2019

Interest-Free Plans

In addition to our four-month installment plan, we also offer a pre-payment option. This option allows students and parents to pay in advance for a future term's tuition and place the residual balance on our regular installment plan. This money management method allows both students and parents to budget and finance their educational costs in advance, and lessen the financial burden as each semester begins. If you are choosing to utilize the four-month installment plan in addition to pre-payments you have made, please advise your Accounts Receivable advisor at the time we assist you with the completion of the contract.

International Payments

Academy of Art University accepts all international payments via Flywire.

It’s a secure and streamlined payment process that makes it easy to pay from accounts in your home country. With Flywire, you can pay online from countries around the world, typically in your home currency.

· Pay from accounts in your home country, outside of US.  For most countries and territories, you pay in your home currency and Flywire will send funds in $USD directly to Academy of Art University

HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT ONLINE

1.     Go directly to academyart.flywire.com

2.     Enter amount to pay and select your home country. 

3.     Select a payment option.  Options can include bank transfer, credit cards, or other local payment options depending on the country selected

4.     Enter the required information for Academy of Art to initiate the payment

5.     Make payment to Flywire as instructed.  Flywire will process and send your payment to Academy of Art with your information.

6.     Track your payment via email/text or via web.  You will also be notified of when Academy of Art receives your payment.
